Time Machine / Command-line API?

Question

I need a link, if it exists, the Time Machine API or just some commands that can change the disk used with Time Machine and vice versa!

I would like a script that I will write to do the following:

Change from drive A to drive B
Backing up Force Time Machine
Switching from drive B back to drive A
