Maxlength in Wix Edit control

Question

Is there a way to specify the maximum number of characters allowed in a Wix edit control? There is no such property as Maxlength.

The only option I can think of is to use MaskedEdit , but there is no way to directly specify the length of the field. Thus, to set Maxlength to 50 characters, I would have to enter 50 wild card characters in the mask. I was hoping for an easier way to do this.
