HitCounter in MVC

I'm trying to create a hit counter for different parts of a website in ASP.NET MVC - any idea where the best place for this would be, or a good way to do this? We want to track the number of views of individual parts of the website.

• You can implement an ActionFilterAttribute that records a hit in some store.
• You can get a DefaultControllerFactory and record a hit for each requested controller.
