I previously posted a question about sharing resources between assemblies, using a markup Themes/generic.xamlextension ComponentResourceKey. The solution works beautifully, but it requires all shared resources to be located in the resource dictionary generic.xaml. Mine is getting pretty big, so I decided to use the combined dictionaries in generic.xamlto organize things.
I still have no luck. I did some tests using the demo from my previous post, and as soon as I move resources to the federated dictionary, it ComponentResourceKeyfails complaining that it cannot find the source file for the federated dictionary.
Has anyone else got this job? How? Thank you for your help.
