Getting annotation position relative to the screen

Question

I would like to get the position (not map coordinates) of the annotation relative to the screen.

For example, to annotate on a map, I would like to know how far this particular output is in the upper left corner (0,0).

I have looked at the documentation and do not provide information about its absolute or relative location.

I will look further into the framework of quartz before perhaps subclassing and redefining rendering methods as a last resort.

Any ideas?
