Indexing ajax loaded content

Is there a widely used standard way to index downloaded ajax content (for search engines)?

For example, indexing HTML content that will be dynamically inserted into the page.

You might want to use some kind of sitemap generator that aggregates all the content that you usually load through AJAX.

Sitemaps are especially useful on websites where:

  • Some areas of the website are not accessible through a viewable interface or
  • - Ajax, Silverlight Flash, .
