Set point convergence point in Flash through ActionScript 3

I work with several designers, each of whom created a 3D animation (using fp 10 features) for use in the same flash application. Each 3D animation is a unique movie clip that will ultimately be part of the same .fla file.

The problem I encountered is that each of the movie clips was created in a separate .fla, and each .fla had different settings for the vanishing point for the scene. This means that after importing various transfers to my library, none of the visual assets are aligned with their original .flas.

The good news is that only one of these movie clips is displayed at a time, so I don't need to have multiple drop points; all i need to do is change the global drop point programmatically at different points at runtime.

What should I do? I tried to access root.transform.perspectiveProjection.projectionCenterand dynamically assign values to it new Point(x, y), but they don't seem to affect the 3D movie clips.

Thanks!

Each clip can have its own vanishing point, try to check that they have instances of their movie clips ( transform.perspectiveProjection.projectionCenter)
