What is a good javascript editor for editing custom DSL code?

I am looking for a nice / customizable editor to host a web page for editing scripts for custom DSL. Ideally with syntax highlighting (and intellisense would be great!)

Does anyone know anything suitable?

For syntax highlighting, check out EditArea . Intellisense can be written as a plugin.

Perhaps you should take a look at codemirror:

http://codemirror.net/

it is a “simple” editor component, and you may have to work on it. but it is easy to improve and integrate.
