What is the best L2 caching provider for NHibernate?

Question

I saw that there are a lot of them. NCache, Velocity, etc., but I did not find a table comparing them.

What is best to consider the following criteria:

• Easy to understand.
• Recently supported.
• Is free or has a reasonably good free version.
• Work.

I can’t say what is better or worse, but I will use my experience with NCache if this helps.
