What does SCM support symbolic links on Windows and Linux?

I found out that subversion does not support symbolic links in Windows .

I am wondering if anyone knows an SCM tool capable of handling symbolic links under Windows and Linux?

SCM tools currently lack support for symbolic links in Windows:

  • Clear register
  • Subversion
  • Mercurial
  • forcibly

Git itself handles symbolic links (symbolic links); I mean, Git stores information that the file is a symbolic link in the repository.

, Git Windows (msysGit) NTFS. core.symlinks, , false Git, , , . Git "core.symlinks" false, , (git clone git init).
