Problems exporting an Excel file from Crystal Reports

I am having a problem exporting Crystal Reports to an excel file.
I tried both options for exporting Excel data and exporting as an excel file. When I export my Crystal Report as an excel file, I cannot sort any fields in my excel file. When I export the report as soon as the excel data, when I open in Excel, the headers are really mixed up. The first three headers appear in the END of all columns, which makes no sense to me.

Does anyone know how to change export options in Visual Studio? I use Crystal Reports in Visual Studio and have no idea how to change any of these options.

It looks like your report was not presented in the best way to export Excel, and it is not Visual Studio or the export options that are the problem here. Depending on your version of Crystal, some tips:

1) Make sure that all column headings have the same width and left position as the data to which they refer.
2) Minimize the spacing between column headings, as well as the spacing between rows of data.
