Potential issues when setting AsyncPostBackTimeout to a large value (300 s)?

Is there any reason not to set ScriptManager.AsyncPostBackTimeout for a (relatively) large value, such as 5 minutes?

I have a report that takes 30 to 180 seconds to run, which causes an error Sys.WebForms.PageRequestManagerTimeoutException: The server request timed out..

In all my searches, I cannot find the disadvantage of a large timeout, but I wonder if anyone has practical experience and can it confirm how safe it is to increase it significantly above 90 seconds by default?
