Can I use the Scheme interpreter (lisp) in an iPhone app?

I find an embedded schema interpreter (or a JIT compiler or something else) in Cocoa Touch. I think that only a C-compatible Scheme engine can be fine. Please advise. I wish him a free license like MIT / BSD, but the commercials are great too.

And .. Does Apple AppStore allow embedded scripts like Scheme?

You may be interested in Gambit Scheme .

For your second question: No, Apple does not allow the use of interpreted code in your application.

EDIT

Ben Gottlieb is right, you cannot run custom scripts in your application, but the internal code interpretation should be fine.

I believe TinyScheme is used by GIMP for its script-fu. It is also licensed by BSD.
