Does LinkedIn anyone use Voldemort?

I tried to learn more about Voldemort, but it doesn't seem to be used outside of LinkedIn. Has anyone really used it for a real system?

Cassandra was originally developed by facebook. They don’t use it much, one of the reasons why most people don’t choose it!

Also technically Voldemort is phenomenal in reading speed. Thus, a data warehouse / preference store will require a greater part of the read speed than the write speed.

Cassandra can sometimes be an overkill killer when you just need to store a key / value pair.
