From Plz tell me the difference of synchronous postback and asynchronous postback

Asynchronous postback behaves the same as synchronous postback, all server page life cycle events occur. But in the rendering stage, the asynchronous postback sends the contents of the update panels back to the browser, where, like the synchronous postback of the entire page, the content is updated / sent back to the browser.
