I need to create a fairly simple application, but it should work on both PC and Mac.
It should also be distributed on disk or a USB drive as a standalone desktop application.
Initially, I thought AIR would be perfect for this (it sets all the API requirements), but the complexity makes it distributable, since the application will need the AIR runtime to be installed to run.
I met Shu Player as an option, as it seems to be able to package the AIR runtime with the application and make (silent?) Install.
However, this seems to violate Adobe's T & C ( as described here ), so I'm not sure about the legality.
Zinc may be another option, but I have not tested it, so I'm not sure how well it will fit the bill.
What would you recommend or suggest me check out?
Any suggestion highly valuable
EDIT : There are still a few discussions on mono-consumption (although no real conclusion):

EDIT2 :
Titanium might also match the score, perhaps check it out.
More comments from anyone?
EDIT3 (one year later) . Actually, it has been almost a year since I published this question, but it seems that some people always come across this from time to time and even give an answer, even a year later.
