Recently, I heard that “fans” of different .NET ORM techniques express strong, if not outlandish views on other ORM methodologies. And frankly I feel a little in the dark.
Could you explain the main advantages of each of these .NET ORM solutions?
- Entity Framework
- NHibernate
- Subsonic
- ADO.NET Datasets
I have a good understanding of 1 & 4 and a superficial understanding of 2 & 3, but seemingly not enough to understand the alleged cultural perceptions of one in relation to the other.
