I use SVN and have a repository on the remote machine. Sometimes, when I work on my local machine, I understand that I need to add some new files to the repo. The usual procedure that I know will be as follows:
- in the current folder on my local machine check all SVN repositories
- enter
- copy the interesting file here
- commit
But it can be a little tiring. Interestingly, for some reason I can omit steps 1 to 3 and import the “interesting” file into SVN directly, without having to check the repo first?
