How to safely delete .copyarea.db files?

I see .copyarea.db files appearing in my ClearCase snapshot directories. I understand that deleting a file can cause some problems. How can I get rid of these files safely?

All CCWeb views have storage stored on the CCRC server (which, in turn, communicates with the VOB server).
This differs from the classic ClearCase views, where the view store is located either on the user computer or on a closed storage server.

, CCRC, ( CCRC), , CCWeb, .copyarea.dat .copyarea.db.

, (.db .dat), CCRC 7.1 . dat directory, , ClearCase , .db.

The.copyarea.db is deleted by ClearCase after I add all View Private files to the snapshot directory in the original control. It makes sense - ClearCase needs a .copyarea.db file to avoid interpreting the copied files as captured, but checking them eliminates this ambiguity, so ClearCase no longer needs .copyarea.db and removes it.
