How much better is WPF Designer in Visual Studio 2010?

For those who spent time in Visual Studio 2010 and worked with WPF, how much better, if any, is the WPF developer? Other developers, such as Blend, still prefer, or can we be productive in VS 2010?

WPF Designer in VS 2010 has improved significantly compared to 2008.

It handles much more unusual cases without hacking and does a better job overall.

The above, with a few exceptions, still remains the same fundamental design as the 2008 designer. There are several new features, in particular for data-driven auto-generating forms, etc., but in general they work the same way.

As a result, I still find Blend a much nicer design tool for working with WPF. I’m just very glad that the designer doesn’t “break” as often, especially when you do things like using Blend behavior, etc.

VS2010 WPF designer is much closer to WinForms designer level than in VS2008 - I would say that it is quite suitable for a typical programmer. However, Blend is still needed if you are a designer.

, VS2010 , VS2008 SP1. .
