QuantLib Beginner's Guide

Question

Is there a good starting document for a quantile ( http://quantlib.org )? The examples are not well documented, and help does not provide such an understanding.

Well there

• hundreds of unit tests,
• a dozen or more examples
• over 1000 pages of documentation created by Doxygen.
• several introductory chapters of a design book compiled by Luigi (lead developer)

All this is complicated, because the topic is complex. The No Free Lunch theorem seems to be valid for the code too :-)
