Insert page break character in Notepad ++

In UltraEdit-32, inserting a page break character can be done using the assigned keyboard shortcut (my CTRL + Enter). UltraEdit-32 will display a good horizontal rule, which implies a page break.

How can I do the same in Notepad ++?

It is not clear from your question whether you are after a line break (your title) or a page break (question text).

However, if you are after a page break, which I think you (Ctrl-Enter is the usual shortcut for it), there is no support in notepad ++ afaik, mainly because standard text files do not support them.
