How to find out if an object type implements IEnumerable <X>, where X is obtained from the database using Reflection

Give a base class Base, I want to write a Test method, for example:

private static bool Test(IEnumerable enumerable)
{
...
}

so Test returns true if type o implements any interface IEnumerable<X>where it Xcomes from Base, so if I did this:

        return enumerable.Cast<Base>().Select(b => b.SomePropertyThatIsString);

    return enumerable.Cast<object>().Select(o => o.ToString());

... what it will do right using Reflection. I am sure that it is a matter of moving across all interfaces of the type to find the first one that meets the requirements, but it is difficult for me to find a common IEnumerable<>among them.

Of course, I could think about this:

I found that even .NET 1.1 collection classes, such as SqlParameterCollection, were IEnumerable.
It also captures general collections such as List <>, since they are also IEnumerable.
