Dates in org-mode in other Emacs modes

I would like to insert dates in the emacs buffer, as in org-mode ( C-c .), in a mode other than org. Is there a minor mode for this? The calendar does not do what I need, because I can, for example, "+1" per day. Thank.

There is no secondary mode, but you can do this:

(global-set-key (kbd "C-c .") 'org-time-stamp)

Or define the key in any mode / layout you want. Please note that this binding may conflict with key bindings in other modes. The key links reserved for users are C-c x(where x is any lower or upper case letter ).
