How to enable SVN menu in editor window in Eclipse?

The SVN (Subversive Plugin) menu is disabled whenever I am in the editing window; it turns on when I'm in the navigator or similar file viewer windows. I would like the SVN menu to turn on when the editor window is open so that I can configure the key binding and fixation while editing the document, instead of switching to the navigation view to fix the file. This is Eclipse 3.5 using the Eclipse Subversion Connectors plugin.

This could be related: I had to reinstall the eclipse, and the explicit number of key bindings no longer works as soon as it was done. In addition, many keystrokes now only work in windows, and not in windows and the dialog box (in particular, select all, copy and paste). If these problems are interconnected, and there is an easy way to restore or update my key bindings without thinking about what would be great.

Explanation

I know how to configure key mappings. It's not a problem. I created them. The problem is that the SVN menu is disabled in the editor panel . I can access the SVN menu from the Navigator or similar panels, and I configured the key mappings exactly the way I want them. They just do not work in all contexts.

Update

I just switched to Subclipse. This pretty much solved all my problems.

Well, it looks like you have a β€œresponse” to your own problems, although you did not mark this as an answer.

in general, you cannot go to the toolbar, get the settings menu (right-click or ctrl-click depending on the environment) and select "configure perspective", and then go to the "Availability of command groups" tab, enable what you want there, and then make the menu visible on other tabs as interested?

Will this subversive menu bring you even in the editor?
