Any open source site for abandoned projects?

I have some projects for which I stopped development long ago, but still receive requests for access to the code. I am currently providing zip packages from my personal website. I think that encrypted packets are far from being useful (for example, they can’t read the code right away, they can’t provide URLs to individual source files, they can’t easily wag, the lifetime depends on my own web page).

I want this archaic code to be online, whether I save my webpage or not. I saw the question, " What is the best open source site? " However, most sites request a "be active" project, such as Codeplex. I did not go through the EULA of all providers to see if they allow abandoned projects.

Are there elephant cemeteries for old code without activity restrictions? Which one would you choose, why?

UPDATE

I tried both Google Code Hg and GitHub to find out which is easier to use. Although GitHub required the installation of an SSH key and additional steps, it was still much easier to get started. On Google Code, even finding the “create a project” page was a problem, every time I had to navigate frequently asked questions. Hg authentication did not work for any reason (yes, I tried both encoding @ up to %% 40 and completely removing the gmail suffix, it didn’t work).

In GitHub, creating / formatting a project is a breeze, support for syntax highlighting for Pascal source files, which was also a plus for this archaic code.
