Windows Phone 7 SDK and Visual Studio 2010 RTM

Question

Hmmm, I wonder if I have the first RTM question for VS 2010? Anyway..

Installing SDK for Windows Phone 7 I get the following error

Incompatible Products
VC 10.0 Runtime
.NET Framework 4 Multi-Targeting Pack
Microsoft.NET Framework 4 Client Profile
Microsoft .NET Framework 4 Extended

This was reported as a problem with Beta 2, and the fix was to install RC. Does anyone know why this is not compatible with RTM? Will we wait for the SDK update?

This is because Windows Phone 7 dev is not compatible with RTM VS 2010. I just did the same frustration.

, Visual Studio 2010 :

• RTM for Visual Studio 2010:
  Install the Windows Phone RTW Developer Tools and then the Windows Phone Developer Tools January 2011 Update and develop for Windows Phone 7
• Visual Studio 2010 SP1:
  install Windows Phone Developer Tools 7.1 Beta and create for Windows Phone 7.0 or 7.1

So far, Microsoft is not killing the above links ,-)
