IPhone App Development for iPad - Auto Set 2x

Is there a way to programmatically configure the iPad to run the iPhone application at 2x when it starts (while still maintaining its own iPhone application). I understand that I can create NIB files for each hardware platform, but for simplicity, I would simply prefer to run the application, as if the user clicked on 2x on the iPad. Thanks ... RJ

No. Pixel-doubling Malakey is not under your control of apps and is pretty much a crutch for apps that aren't designed for iPad. Unless you have chosen nuts with specific pixel measurements in the source code, moving to the big screen should not be difficult.

This is not really a software control, but you can get the application to run in 2x mode in iOS 4.2.

I had several applications that always started in 2x mode, and it was very nice, but I just found out why it was today!

Steps:

  • Launch an iPhone app (e.g. from Xcode)
  • Use the “1x” and “2x” buttons to select the desired zoom level.
  • Press the home button to return to the launchpad
  • "",
  • ( , , "-" ).

( 1, Xcode , SIGKILL - , .)

, , , 2!

, , Xcode (, Run | Stop), , exit. - , ...
