I am talking about VS 2010 Professional / Ultimate RTM (not express versions). Google shows nothing but beta 2 and RC content.
Will it work fine on a Core 2 Duo E6550 2.33 GHz with 3 GB of RAM and an NVIDIA GeForce 8400 GS?

No reason not to be updated.
The only thing is that it requires 3 restarts on XP and 1 on 7 ...
I have been using Premium RTM every day since release and have no problems developing C # / ASP.NET MVC2.

So far, the only thing that could have happened in 2010 was a third-party plugin.
I started RC a few months before the release of the RTM version, and even the RC version was solid as far as I used it.
I did not use a stopwatch, but I got the impression that it was a little slower at start up than its predecessor.
