We are developing a CRM application that contains information about customer meetings. Users requested that their Outlook calendars display the activity they booked in the CRM application, and vice versa.
Is there a solution for this? It is not recommended to use any plug-ins or install on the PC of the end user?

Based on this blog post and iCal spec, you should be able to do this by sending the user a link to the iCal event.
