Using Ruby / Python code in iPhone OS app?

My application needs to use a library available only for Python and Ruby. In my opinion, Apple allows Ruby to run on the iPhone until users can execute arbitrary code ( Rhomobile uses Ruby).

How can I associate Ruby / Python with my application, call a function from my Obj-C code and get the result (string) in C or Obj-C format?

You can not. The new SDK convention prohibits the use of original languages โ€‹โ€‹other than C, C ++, or Objective-C , and the SDK convention always prohibits the dynamic interpretation of code. There is some ambiguity as to how these rules will be respected, but to be safe, it is better to avoid other languages โ€‹โ€‹until breaks are developed.

EDIT: Also, as far as I know, there is no current technical way to run Python on iPhone, like this question . I heard about Lua implementation in iPhone apps, but not in Python. You can make Python with jailbroken iPhone , but not through the app store.
