SQL Server 2000, yes 2000 password hash

I need to save the password in a SQL Server 2000 database. The information is not critical, but I really do not want to save the password in clear text. How can I get a unique hash (sha, sha1, md5, etc.) in SQL Server 2000, because HashBytes is not available.

I am not looking for a compiled DLL or ilk, I do not have access to the server, it must be pure MS SQL.

In MS SQL Server 2000 there are functions without documents (to later versions) called pwdencrypt()and pwdcompare().

See this blog: SQL Server 2000 Undocumented Features

Or in the MSDN online books:

, , 2002 . . " Cracking MS SQL Server" TheRegister. , Hashbytes.

SQL Server - , . , SQL Server .
