Add multiple po files to one, default.po

Question

I am trying to add i18n support for the CakePHP plugin. I have several * .pot files that I edited / translated using poedit. The fact is that I would like to merge all the files into one default.po file.

Does anyone know how I can do this in the easiest / smartest way?

To do this, msgcat is used.
