Emacs tabs more vim-like

I am currently trying emacs from vim. There is only one thing that I desperately miss: tabs (in the sense of the GUI). I know TabBarMode , but it does not support splitting windows (e.g. Cx 3) from tab to tab while Vim does this. Is there any plugin for emacs that handles tabs in a more vim way?
