ColdFusion Session Variables

Are session variables involved in coldfusion or cleared to the specified limit? For example, if the expiration date is set to 24 hours, and the user interacts with them for 10 minutes, do they expire if they are not used before 24 hours?

Usually not. Considering you set a wait time of 24 hours for your session variables, and you log in for the first time, doing things for 10 minutes, after which your session is active for 24 hours after the last mouseclick. If you do not restart the server or the client does not delete cookies or your cleanup interval (Purge data for clients that remain inaccessible to ...) in ColdFusion Administrator is less than your session timeout.
