Are there any design guidelines for document databases?

It's just interesting if there are any recommendations for developing a db-oriented document, and I'm talking especially about CouchDb .

I know that, being sketchy things, it can take the form we want, but are there any best practices?

Thanks in advance! = D

Ian Lenardt recently wrote a useful overview of modeling data (I would not call it a “circuit”, as you correctly point out).
