Microsecond Profiler for C Code

Does anyone from the C code profiler know gprof, which gives the function call time in microseconds instead of milliseconds?

Take a look at Linux perf . You will need a fairly recent kernel.

oprofile gets you time in the resolution of the clock, that is, nanoseconds, it creates output files compatible with gprof, so it’s very convenient to use.
