Change table column / drag & drop 'n' Delete in jQuery

I am looking for a way to implement both resizing and dragging 'n' for columns (not rows) in a predefined table using jQuery. I did a bit of Googling and actually did not find anything suitable for the account, as many of you require that you essentially restore the table using jQuery. I just want to enable this functionality, not the whole table structure dictated by the third-party version.

Does anyone know of any plugins that could help me, and if there weren’t any jQuery gurus who already solved this problem?
