Can I use an external diff / merge tool in the Eclipse "Team Synchronization" perspective?

On the Synchronize Perspectives tab of Eclipse Team Synchronization , double-clicking on a file displays a built-in two-way diff / merge editor. If I set the external merge tool, it is not used to run Team the Synchronization - Access to it is only possible from the menu item Edit conflicts ... . It would be much nicer to have a three-way merge tool as an editor inside Team Synchronization . Does anyone know how to configure Eclipse for this? Thanks in advance.

A disruptive plugin for SVN can help. Check out the subversion setup link to use an external comparison tool.

If you want to integrate the Beyond Compare tool inside Eclipse, use the link and install the eclipse plugin.
