Android device connected to PC detected

I have an Android developer, I want to know when it is connected to the computer via java / .net I know that it is possible - Samsung New PC Studio does this when I ever connect an Android device, it lets me know. how can i achieve the same

You must listen to one of these notifications.

If you use it as a mass storage device, use this

http://developer.android.com/reference/android/content/Intent.html#ACTION_UMS_CONNECTED

Other USB events are not described in the documentation.
