in mysql i have 3 tables. one - 500,000, another 300,000 and finally about 5,000
each of them gets maybe 50-500 extra lines daily
Should I run the table analyzeand optimizefor them? if so, how often?

optimize table rebuilds the table for InnoDB, so it may take a long time to start. It is used to restore space and recreate indexes. I would say that this is rare, if at all. optimize doc table
