Is NetBeans recommended to develop a GUI for a Python application?
Does it have a form / screen layout for Python applications like Dabo?
Although it is not “embedded” in Netbeans, I found Qt Designer a great tool for creating graphical interfaces for Python. Of course, this only works if you use PyQt or PySide , but it has left me happy for years. According to Netbeans Docs , integrated support for Qt Designer is available. I have not tried this personally to see if it works within the framework of the Python project, but even if it is not I, I doubt that the annoyance of manually launching the constructor will be enough to dissuade you from using excellent in other tools.

I don’t know what kind of “recommendation” you are looking for, but it is certainly supported.
