Where are the JDBC4 annotations?

Some time ago, jdk 6 declared JDBC4 with annotation-based SQL queries . "I was looking for a validation approach, but could not find the required classes (for example, java.sql.BasicQuery) in the JDK. 6. Having caught a bit on this subject, I found a thread on java.net, which reports "User Ease", the features were not finally included in the JDK due to lack of time. Will someone here tell me more about the future availability of these features?

Annotation-based queries never ended up in the final JDBC 4.0, and there wasn’t much talk about returning them; the work seemed to be focused on JPA .

If you still want something like this, check out iBatis . Here are some examples.
