Show joomla component in menu item type

Question

I created a component for Joomla and it works fine with the direct URL: http://www.something.com/index.php?option=com_pbform

The problem is that when I try to add it to the menu. When I change the type of menu item, the component is displayed, but when I click on it, I do not get a view to apply it to the menu item.

Do I need to configure anything else in the component?
