When does the maxidletime fire at the berth?

The maxIdleTime parameter is passed to the Socket handler of the operating system and becomes the timeout value for this socket. If the other end of the connection supports the connection, the connection will never be closed by the OS. Jetty Thread will wait until the OS considers this connection to be still alive.

The maxIdle time was originally passed to the sotimeout socket. However, now that the marina is asynchronous, it is not used strictly like that because sotimeout applies only to blocking operations.

Instead, the timeout is used in two cases:

1), ( ), , , .

2), - ( ), , , soTimeout, IO / , TimeoutException.
