How can I get people to try my framework?

I recently created an annotation-based validation framework in Javascript. In my humble opinion, this is useful, and I think it has potential. However, I'm not sure how to go about "advertising." At least I would like people to try it and give me their comments / opinions / suggestions.

In general, how do I get my framework / project to be noticed by people? How can I at least get them to try and find out if they like it or hate it, or if they have suggestions for improvement?

The personal experience of the SO members would also be useful - as in those things that you tried to work, and those things that you tried that did not work ( do and don'ts list ).

Some ideas for you ...

Do

  • You have a blog and a blog post about the structure.
  • You have a dedicated website dedicated to this structure. Include a section of documentation and examples. Lots of examples, including annotated code. Use the YUI examples as a guide. For example, YUI AutoComplete and their examples
  • Have patience, it will take some time
  • Include a discussion of compatibility with jQuery, etc.

At the very least, you should get some people to look at him that way. If feedback is received, it is that people are sincerely interested in using your infrastructure, then at this point, perhaps you can consider studying more formal advertising methods (of which I have no experience, so I leave the suggestions to others).
