I added an icon to my application. It has rounded edges and has no background. The problem is that when I launch the application on my device (iPhone 5), the icon has a black background around the edges, as if it were not transparent. Any solutions?

From the Apple developer website after a quick search:

Avoid transparency. The application icon must be opaque. If the borders of the icons are smaller than the recommended sizes - or you use transparency to create “visible” areas - the resulting icon may appear on a black background, which, as a rule, looks unappealing on beautiful wallpapers that users choose.
