How to change the name of the iPhone application 100%!

It is not possible to change the name of my iPhone application to 100%.

I executed several threads and followed the methods described below, but the old name continues to appear in the console. I'm worried that at some deeper level, the application name has not actually been changed to 100%.

My concern is that I made the "Lite" version, starting with a copy of the "full" version. Therefore, I do not want the device to get confused if my clients update and download the full version, and the device sees two applications with the same name "CORE or ROOT".

The console continues to display:
  2010-07-03 10:56:35.129 *OldAppName* [45672.207] Test Message

I changed the name Product_name, ".app", the name of the Bundle, etc. - Where does Console get this name, so can I really change the application name to 100%? I do not need conflicts with the full version in the future, because applications have grown independently in complexity. (ie Push notifications, iAds and other "APP" specific items)

I did the following, but not getting a 100% name change:

I. I used Xcode, Project, Rename.

II. I used the suggested answer in stackoverflow, Changing the name of the iPhone application ,

  • Go to Goals in Xcode,
  • "Get information" about your project goal (your current dumb development name),
  • Find "Product Name" in the "Packaging" section. Change the value of what you want the new program name to be.

The "Product_Name" field is empty for all assemblies, I changed it to a new name, but I continue to receive console output, referring to OldAppName .

III. I am not trying to change the "Bundle Name", these are the same as the Lite Version. And changing this does not change the link name in the console, I tried.

IV. I deleted the entire Build folder several times to ensure that there are no problems with obsolete ones, but the name still does not change.

I am currently working on a large portability of copy / paste to a new project in order to try to completely fix this with the new project, because I would like to get the application uploaded to the AppStore as soon as possible, but there should be a better way to achieve this.

I had a problem when the project had a localized string file (infoplist.strings) with "CFBundleDisplayName" = "MyOldAppName". Deleting this file and renaming the target in my NewAppName worked for me.
