WAR and Subversion Files

How should I process WAR files (using GWT) with Subversion in Eclipse?

Atm problem. when adding a war folder to SVN, it includes all the compiled code that I don’t have to filter, making the svn checkout long and pointless.

I do not need my compiled class files on my subversion server, and I also do not want to receive svn information in a military package. But I still need client-side content (html, javascript, css) for inclusion in subversion.

So what is the Java EE way to do this?
