Am I not getting data from a fixed range in a crystal report?

Question

In my crystal report, I actually filter the data based on the start and end dates. But I do not receive data from a fixed range (1-1-1985-31-12-2009). The data that I get directly from the DB table, I do not call any procedure.

I checked all the possible ways to limit / filter the data, I could not find anywhere where they filter in the report. While I receive data from 1985 to 2009.

I am using Crystal Report 8.0. Any idea how and where the data can be filtered?
